Sujit Choudhry Joins Other Experts To Talk About Constitutional Challenges

The director of the Center for Constitutional Transitions, Sujit Choudhry, was among a prominent team of experts, who converged in Kiev to deliberate on constitutional challenges. The workshop, which was held on July 10, was hosted by major Ukrainian think tanks like the Center of Policy and Legal Reform and intergovernmental organizations advocating for democracy. Choudhry said that he was honored to be part of the discussion with renowned professionals. Speaking about the unstable democratization in Ukraine, the constitutional expert contended that it had been triggered by the electoral system and weak political parties. Sujit Choudhry emphasized the need for constitutional-thought leaders to gather and discuss about policy-based options to support constitutional reform.
